Our Curriculum
There are five learning areas or Units of Enquiry with a Core Area that incorporates Perspectives (informed positions), Critical Thinking, Research Project, Life Skills and Social Empowerment through Work and Action (SEWA).

Five learning areas are represented diagrammatically as the 5 petals which intersect in a cross curricular approach.

Primary Curriculum - Std. I to V
Broad Objectives of Curriculum at Primary
  • Think creatively, analyze critically and synthesize clearly.

  • Develop and apply effective listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

  • Understand and value the relationships between creativity, imagination and problem solving and the linguistic, artistic, ethical, literary, and philosophical traditions that shape human cultures and interdependence of groups in a global society.

  • Understand the interdisciplinary nature of knowledge and apply an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving.

  • Provide holistic situations for proper learning

  • Provide rich and comprehensible input for acquisition of knowledge

  • Develop a link between natural, cultural and social environment.

  • Develop critical thinking to deal with challenges of everyday life

Middle Curriculum - Std. VI to VIII
Broad Objectives of Curriculum at Middle
The student will develop the ability to :
  • Read a variety of fiction and non-fiction materials for different purposes

  • Interpret, analyse, infer and evaluate written work linking it with personal experiences and knowledge

  • Communicate ideas for a variety of purposes using various features of ` appropriate forms for a specific audience in a given context.

  • Express and respond to a range of ideas and opinions concisely, clearly and appropriately

  • Organize information creatively and logically during any expression

  • Concentrate by identifying the main points and staying on the topic

  • Use appropriate forms of language suited to a variety of purposes

  • Use appropriate style and structure in communication

  • Give and receive feedback for a piece of communication and subsequently improve as per the suggestions arrived at

  • Use correctly the conventions of language viz., spelling, grammar, punctuation of the set of vocabulary and syntax used
